Ferat Polisi

Professor of Philosophy and Sociology; Former Mufti of Struga.

Profile

Ferat Polisi was born on January 26, 1969 in Dobovjan, Struga. He graduated from Al-Azhar University in Cairo in 1995 (Philosophy–Sociology). He continued postgraduate studies at Saint Cyril and Methodius University (MA 2000, PhD 2002). He has lectured at the State University of Tetovo since 2001 and served as Mufti of Struga (2001–2012). He has a wide scientific activity with publications in philosophy, sociology and ethics.
